How do I book a technician to come to me?

 Simply call 587.216.4499, email service@hightorque.ca, or hit ‘Get a Free Quote’ on the homepage!

Let us know the details of your vehicle like the year, make, model & engine size. If you know what’s wrong with your vehicle, just request a quote for that repair. (Note that we cannot guarantee our repairs based on another shops diagnoses or if you diagnosed it yourself). If you don’t know what’s wrong, don’t worry! We will conduct a diagnostic inspection and give you a fixed price quote. After you accept this quote, we will schedule the appointment for the repair based on when is convenient for you! A credit card will be required to secure your booking – see below for information on cancellations.

What kind of work can you do?

 We can do pretty much anything! (Except some major engine or transmission repairs, wheel alignments and tires.) We offer over 150 services & repairs like brakes, alternators, spark plugs, fluid exchanges and more. And using the best quality parts, we guarantee all workmanship and parts for 20,000km or 12 months. See our Services page for more information! 

What is your cancellation policy?

 

As with most appointments you may have, if you cancel your service 24hrs or more in advance, we don’t charge any fees. If you cancel the appointment within 24 hrs, we charge a flat fee of $50.00 which will be charged to the credit card we have on file when you made the appointment. This ensures that our Technicians have enough time to book another job in your place.

Any special ordered parts cannot be returned, therefore will be charged as well as the cancellation fee.

If you simply want to reschedule your appointment, we charge $50.00 as a credit towards your next appointment.

Do you charge for diagnostics and is there a minimum fee?

 

Yes, any diagnostic or repair will be charged the labor/inspection fee – starting at $99.99. You will be quoted for the appointment prior to confirmation. Our minimum diagnostic/repair fee is 1.0hr (except for oil changes, and battery replacements). For example, if your vehicle will not start, but you aren’t sure of the exact repair, we will come out and perform a “no start diagnostic” which will be charged at $99.99 + GST. Our technician will diagnose exactly why your vehicle will not start as well as perform a 25 point inspection. If the diagnostic requires more than the 1.0hr, we will give you a new quote that shows the additional time. Once you approve the new quote, our technician will continue the diagnostic.

Why are you better than the quick-lube down the street?

With High Torque Mobile Mechanics, you are guaranteed to get a fully certified mechanic. You will never get an inexperienced student working on your vehicle which is the case with most quick lube shops. Our technicians have the experience to expertly diagnose and service your vehicle so you never have to worry! And who really likes waiting in line for an oil change…

How do I pay?

 

We can accept cash, Interac debit, and all major credit cards right on site after your service is complete! Or if you’d prefer to pay other ways, we can accept email money transfers if you left a credit card on file when you secured your booking!
